中国科学技术大学电子工程与信息科学系教授、博士生导师，国家级特聘专家。在2019年加入中科大之前，曾历任微软亚洲研究院研究员、主管研究员、资深研究员 （2003-2019）。

 

2016年，VCIP 最佳学生论文奖 “Internal-Video Mode Dependent Directional Transform”

2009年，IEEE TCSVT 最佳期刊论文奖“Image Compression with Edge-Based Inpainting”

2006年，国家技术发明奖二等奖“高效数字视频编解码技术及其在国际标准与国家标准中的应用”

2004年， 北京市科学技术奖一等奖“视频编码关键技术研究及其对MPEG-4国际标准的贡献”

 

长期专注于图像、视频处理及计算机视觉方向的基础与应用研究，研究成果以论文形式在多个相关领域顶级国际会议和刊物上发表100余篇。

 

担任相关领域十余个著名国际会议和顶级国际期刊的技术委员、编委、评审等职务，包括IEEE JETCAS高级编委和Signal Processing: Image Communication期刊的领域编辑，并担任IEEE MSA（Multimedia Systems & Applications）技术委员会委员 （2014-2018）。
